Cyndi Zou founded ElevatED Youth in Markham, Ontario, after her own recovery from an eating disorder showed her how little open, stigma-free support exists for young people going through the same thing.
What started as one person's story turned into a youth-led movement — community pop-ups, workshops, and a growing network of volunteers, all built around the same idea: your hardest chapter doesn't have to define you. It can fuel you.
She's still leading ElevatED today — building toward something bigger, and always looking for the next generation of leaders ready to help take it further.
